Florian Reßnik

M.Sc., Chemistry, Leipzig University, 2022

B.Sc., Chemistry, Leipzig University, 2020

Florian grew up near Leipzig, which is in the eastern region of Germany. He attended Leipzig University for his bachelor’s studies in chemistry. During his bachelor’s thesis, he worked with Prof. Evamarie Hey-Hawkins on trinuclear heterobimetallic transition complexes. He continued studying at Leipzig University for his master’s degree, where he partook in several research. The basis for his masters thesis came from the time he spent at the University of Cambridge investigating new chiral discriminating agents based on cyclodiphosphazanes under the supervision of Prof. Dominic Wright and Prof. Evamarie Hey-Hawkins. Presently, Florian is investigating the coordination chemistry of high-valent f-element complexes.
